Tree Pruning is often desirable or necessary to remove dead branches,
improve tree structure, enhance vigor or maintain safety and tree
aesthetics.
Crown Cleaning is the selective removal of dead, diseased, broken, or weekly
attached branches from a tree crown.
Crown Thinning includes crown cleaning as we as selective removal of branches to increase light penetration and air movement through the crown and to reduce weight. Increased light and air stimulates and maintains interior foliage. Thinning towards the tips of a branch may reduce the wind sail effects and relieve the weight of heavy limbs.
Practicing proper tree maintenance, such as pruning, cabling, bracing is excellent "preventative medicine" for your trees.
